How our System works
Create a User Account: To place Announcements or Advertisements on
Gibraltar Classifieds you need to create an account to become a User.
You create an account by Registering. To create an account now
go here.
Submit your
Advertisement: Once you have created your new User Account,
you will be able to use our system and place FREE Advertisements and make
Free Announcements in Gibraltar Classifieds!
To
Submit your Ad log into your new Account using
the Username and password you just created in the registering process.
Go to the Category
in which you wish to place your Advertisement. Once in your preferred
category you will be able to
see a link "Submit Ad". Click on "Submit
Ad" and
fill in the easy form which will open.
Modify your
Advertisement: If you need to edit or modify your Ad, log into
your User Account. Once logged in, you will see a link for "My
Ads" on the navigation menu. Click on that and a list of
your current Ads will appear. Click on the Ad you wish to edit.
Your Ad page will open. You will see a link on the top right of
the Ad "Modify | Delete". Click "Modify".
Your Ad submit form will once again appear. Make any
modifications you require, then click on "Submit Ad".
Your Ad will have been edited. Please make sure your edits
appear as you wanted. Your Ad will need to be approved once
more. This normally does not take very long.
Include Pictures:
You can also attach pictures to your Advertisements. Images can be
uploaded from your own computer. In the "Submit
Ad" form, just click on the "browse" button to open your computer's
folders to search and choose the picture you wish to include in your
Advertisement. Once you have successfully 'uploaded' your picture, our
system will automatically include a 'clickable' thumbnail for your readers
to see.
Advertisement Approval:
Once your Advertisement is submitted, it shall be reviewed by the Website's
Administrators for approval. Once approved, you will receive an email
notifying you of your Advertisement submission's approval along with a link
where you can view your new Ad!
Readers' Replies:
Once your Advertisement is published online, our readers will be able to
view it and if interested, reply to it! Replies
from Readers are emailed to you directly. The Reader will NOT see your
email or any other information, other than what you have published in your
Advertisement. Once a Reader replies to
you, by email, you will be able to reply to the interested Reader directly,
by simply clicking on the 'Reply' button of your email manager.
Expiry Notification:
Your Advertisement will be shown FREE on Gibraltar Classifieds
for a period of 30 days. 5 Days before the expiration of your Ad, you
will receive a "Notification of Expiry" email,
warning you that your Ad is about to expire. If you choose to do
nothing, the system will delete your Advertisement at the end of this period
of 30 days. The "Notification of Expiry"
email gives you the opportunity to log into your user account and prolong
the life of your Advertisement for another 30 day period... again Free!
